What comes from members—and what does not.

CinemaTrove combines first-party member activity with outside movie metadata and directly maintained streaming records. The labels on the site are intended to keep those sources distinct.

CinemaTrove member activity

Ratings, reviews, watch dates, rewatch history, favorites, watchlists, lists, likes, comments, and social connections are created inside CinemaTrove. When a page says “member rating,” “watched by members,” or “popular on CinemaTrove,” the underlying activity comes from CinemaTrove members.

Movie metadata from TMDB

Movie search results, TMDB identifiers, posters, backdrops, release information, genres, credits, runtimes, and overviews may be supplied by The Movie Database (TMDB). CinemaTrove may store that information and apply regional title corrections or member genre overrides where the product supports them.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

TMDB audience ratings are not used as CinemaTrove member ratings. See How ratings work.

Streaming availability

CinemaTrove keeps its own records for streaming offers that have been reviewed for a movie, provider, country, and offer type. A verified option can include its provider, subscription or purchase type, price, quality, destination, and the date it was last checked.

Availability and prices change often. CinemaTrove can be incomplete or out of date, so confirm the current offer with the provider before subscribing, renting, or buying. Signed-in members can report a verified offer that is unavailable, mispriced, mislabeled, or broken.

Provider searches are not availability claims

When CinemaTrove has no verified offer, it may provide a link that searches Amazon Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Netflix, or Tubi. These links open search results; they do not mean the movie is available from that provider.
