Help us fix the record.
Movie data and streaming availability change, and human-entered information can be wrong. A specific report with a reliable source is the fastest path to a useful correction.
Movie titles and metadata
For an incorrect title, year, director, runtime, genre, poster, or synopsis, include the CinemaTrove page URL, the correct information, and a reliable source. A TMDB ID is especially helpful when two movies share a title or a movie has different regional titles.
Regional and original titles
CinemaTrove generally presents the U.S. English title to U.S. users while preserving an original or alternate title when it helps identify the film. A different title on a poster is not automatically an error; include the country and release context in a correction.
Streaming availability
Signed-in members can use Report beside a verified offer to flag unavailable titles, wrong prices, wrong offer types, or broken links. For a broader issue, send the movie, country, provider, offer type, and the time you checked it through the contact page.
Reviews, comments, and profiles
A difference of opinion is not a factual correction. Report member content when it impersonates someone, exposes private information, violates rights, or conflicts with the community guidelines. Include the direct URL and enough context to find the content.
Ratings and methodology
If a displayed count or methodology page appears inconsistent with CinemaTrove’s behavior, include the page, what you observed, and the expected result. Published methodology should describe the code that is actually running, not an intended future design.
How corrections are reviewed
Reports are checked against the relevant CinemaTrove record and appropriate source. CinemaTrove does not publish a guaranteed response time, but clear reports with direct evidence are easier to verify and correct.
