These terms set straightforward expectations for accounts, member contributions, community conduct, and outside information.
Last updated August 23, 2026Using CinemaTrove
Use CinemaTrove lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the service or other members. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe private systems, scrape protected account data, distribute malware, or use the service to deceive or harm others.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. Account authentication is managed through Clerk. Do not create an account to impersonate another person or to evade moderation.
Member content
You remain responsible for reviews, comments, profile details, list notes, and other material you submit. Only post material you have the right to share.
Submitting content gives CinemaTrove permission to store, process, display, and format that content as needed to operate the service and the visibility you selected. Public content may be seen and linked to by people outside CinemaTrove.
Community and moderation
The community guidelines apply to member activity. Content that conflicts with those guidelines or these terms may be removed, and repeated or serious misuse may affect account access.
Movie and streaming information
Movie metadata, streaming availability, prices, ratings, recommendations, and links can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Verify a provider’s current terms before making a purchase or subscription decision. The data sources page explains how CinemaTrove labels first-party and outside information.
Third-party services and links
CinemaTrove uses outside services for authentication, movie metadata, images, analytics, and provider destinations. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use those services. An outbound link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site.
Changes to the service and these terms
CinemaTrove is an actively developed service. Features and these terms may change as the product develops. The updated date on this page will change when the published terms are revised.
